The Big PSX Eboots (PS for PSP) Thread updated 1.7

First of all, some games may require a different "pop" (the thing that loads the PSX games on the PSP) version from the one of the current firmware to work properly, so there is a plugin for the PSP which can load different versions of the pops, and can be downloaded here (and obviously you need to have a custom firmware (m33) for all of these PSX related things in case you don't have one):

Code:
http://rapidshare.com/files/105995594/PopsLoader.rar

All of the pops are already there, so all you have to do is to extract the file and place the folder on your memory stick's root directory, and then to enable the PopsLoader through the custom firmware's Recovery Mode>Plugins by holding the PSP's R button while turning it on.

And now, to the games (the game folders should be placed under the memory stick's PSP/GAME folder):

Tekken 3:

Code:
Some of the PlayStation's biggest moments have centered around a Tekken game. Tekken 1 was released a few months after the PlayStation hit shelves and propelled the system to stardom. Tekken 2 came along, and was another "better-than-perfect" translation of the arcade version, adding modes and what were some of the most amazing FMV sequences available at the time. Tekken 3 has caused much debate prior to its release, as it was slated to be the first Tekken game that wouldn't be a perfect translation. While the backgrounds aren't quite as sharp (they're 2D) as the arcade version, the PlayStation version of Tekken 3 more than makes up for this with additional modes, state-of-the-art FMV, and some of the best fighting to be found anywhere.

Grand Theft Auto 2:

Code:
Everyone's favorite jack-move simulator is back for another round. Grand Theft Auto 2 is, for the most part, a collection of enhancements to the original game. The graphics have been redone, the music is different, there is a slew of new weapons, the mission structure is a bit more complex, and the city feels a bit more alive.

And here is Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2:

Code:
As most major publishers' development efforts shift to any number of next-generation platforms, Tony Hawk 2 will likely stand as one of the last truly fantastic games to be released on the PlayStation.

Vagrant Story:

Code:
Let's just get it out of the way - Vagrant Story is a ground-breaking game. A melange of the action, adventure and RPG genres, Square has truly beaten all odds and produced an engaging, seamless epic unlike any other. And here is Mortal Kombat Trilogy:

Code:
Mortal Kombat, in all its incarnations, has always been about anticipation and mystery - bringing players back time and time again in search of brutal combat, secret moves, and hidden characters. And now in Mortal Kombat Trilogy the entire Mortal Kombat series (and more) is on one disk. Die-hard fans will lose their heads over all-new moves, finishing techniques, and a new secret character - Chameleon. Players won't find any improvement in terms of control, graphics, or sound from the Playstation edition of MK3, but they will find a heck of a lot more game.

(for Mortal Kombat) If you have the latest firmwarem, playing with the 3.90 Pops would have problems and get stuck, so using the PopsLoader I've uploaded play with the 3.71 which seems to work with no bugs.

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!

Code:
The original Spyro was a technical feat for the PlayStation: It gave us a fully 3D, pop-up-free world, the likes of which we'd only seen in a few titles on the Nintendo 64. Its presentation was exceedingly top-notch on a system that was starting to show signs of age (even last year), and the level design and gameplay also held to high standards. Its downside? The game was over a little too quickly, and its stages felt a bit cookie-cutter toward the end. Spyro 2, however, injects a dose of soul and variety into a game that was already pretty fun to play.

Theme Hostpital:

Code:
Following in the footsteps of Diablo, Theme Hospital has arrived almost completely intact on the PlayStation.

Download: Code:

http://rapidshare.com/files/106776533/Theme.Hospital.PSX.EBOOT.part2.rar

(for Theme Hospital) If your firmware is 3.90 and you'll try to load it with the firmware's "pop" it won't work. The 3.72 pop seems to work flawlessly (and probably others will work fine too), so use it with the PopsLoader I've uploaded (remember to activate it through the Recovery Mode).

And here is something a little different from PSX EBOOTS.
I've found a Sege Genesis/CD emulator for the PSP, and then I've also found a little old but really greate game (that the most of you are probably already familiar with)...

Sonic 3 & Knuckles X_x

I haven't found a review, but it's more or less as its name, Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles together with combined levels and features (you can play with all of the three characters; Sonic, Knuckles and Tails), and the other games got scores at the range of 9.

The emulator (it's the Slims PSP version, if you also want the old PSP version I can add it) *Place the folder on the memory stick's PSP/GAME Folder **I've already added the needed bios file to the emulator:
Code:
http://rapidshare.com/files/107668900/PicoDrive.PSP.Slim.rar

And the game (that doesn't really matter, but it would be more organized to put the game roms in the PicoDrive/Games folder):

Die Hard Trilogy 2: Viva Las Vegas:

Code:
It may be a better rental than a purchase, but those not expecting a lot out of the game may find themselves pleasantly surprised.

Earthworm Jim 2:

Code:
An ordinary average earthworm named Jim goes about his normal daily life, cruising around avoiding crows and doing other general worm-like things. Jim is suddenly struck by a very large ultra- high- tech- indestructible- super- space- cyber- suit. Through sheer luck, Jim rests safely in the neck ring of the suit. Suddenly, the ultra-high-tech space particles of the suit begin interacting with Jim's soft wormy flesh and a radical light-speed evolution takes place.
Jim soon realizes he is in control of the suit.

Gameplay is similar to the first game, with Jim jumping and running through the levels. There are 5 weapons more than the original game to collect. Characters like Princess Whats-Her-Name and Psy-Crow appear.

Rayman 2: The Great Escape:

Code:
When platform characters are brought up in conversation, the likes of Nintendo's Mario, Sega's Sonic and Naughty Dog's Crash Bandicoot are typically the ones who get the most mention. However, one of my personal favorites has been Ubi Soft's Rayman. Mario is just some fat Italian plumber, Sonic's some loud-mouthed hedgehog and Crash is just some annoying little bandicoot. They're all cool characters, but none of them have the same creative design that Rayman does. He has no limbs or joints and he looks kind of silly, but it just works. Rayman is one of the coolest platform characters ever conceived and his first title, a 2D game released on multiple systems including the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation, was one of the best platform games of its time.

Well, the lovable guy is back in his first 3D adventure on PlayStation. And unlike most platformers that make the jump from 2D to the third dimension,
there hasn't been a lot lost in the move in Rayman 2. In fact, in many ways, Rayman's jump to 3D has produced a game that is superior to its 2D brethren.
